A contract pergola for a hotel or restaurant terrace is a different class of product, and the difference is structural. It carries a roof full of rain or snow, stands up to the wind that funnels across an exposed terrace or a rooftop, runs motorised mechanisms thousands of times, and does it over spans far wider than a domestic patio — so it has to be engineered, not assembled from a flat pack.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t
