Height specification
Always confirm mattress height before specifying. Standard hotel bed: 200mm mattress on 350mm base = 550mm total. Specify nightstand height at 550–580mm so the surface is level with or slightly above the mattress top.

The minimum specification is one USB-A and one USB-C port per nightstand. For 4-star and above, a combined USB and standard power outlet module integrated into the nightstand surface or drawer face is standard. The term bedside table — or bedroom bedside table — covers a wider range of furniture than the standard hotel nightstand. In hotel specification, three distinct configurations fall under this category: the standard bedside cabinet (drawer + door or shelf, on legs or plinth), the bedside chest (taller unit, 2–3 drawers, higher storage volume — popular in executive and suite rooms), and the bedside shelf (minimal floating shelf without storage, used in compact rooms or when the integrated headboard unit incorporates a shelf).
