Pouffe / Pouf
A light, round, legless seat. Pulled over as a footrest or extra seat, then pushed away. No hard edges, easy for housekeeping to move — ideal for compact rooms.
Footstool
A small legged ottoman that pairs with a lounge or reading chair. Low enough to extend the leg, light enough to move, neat enough to tuck under the chair.
Cube Ottoman

Cocktail / Coffee Ottoman

Two measurements matter most. A footrest ottoman should sit a little below the seat of the chair it serves — around 380–440mm — so the leg extends without lifting. A bed-end bench should match the bed width and align with the mattress top, so it reads as part of the bed and lets a guest sit to dress. Frame & base
Kiln-dried hardwood or powder-coated metal, depending on the model. Bench and storage frames are corner-blocked and reinforced for commercial load. Every hotel guest room ottoman frame is engineered for guests to sit, perch luggage, and occasionally stand on it.
Foam & top
Fire-retardant high-resilience foam over webbing or a solid platform. Footrest ottomans use a medium-firm top; cocktail ottomans use a firmer top so they hold a tray. Tops can be plain, piped, or button-tufted.
