HFC manufactures both hinged-door и sliding-door hotel wardrobes — the two most widely specified configurations. A hinged door wardrobe opens outward on concealed hinges, giving full simultaneous access to the interior, and suits any room with clearance in front. A sliding door wardrobe moves within the wardrobe width on a top-hung track, needs no front clearance, and is preferred for compact rooms or where the wardrobe faces the bed.

Choose hinged where there is 550–600mm of clear floor space in front of the wardrobe; choose sliding where there is not, or where the wardrobe faces the bed. Confirm the swing or slide direction on the room layout drawing before specifying.

• Wardrobes are not only for storing clothes. They can be the heart of your hotel room by facilitating the minibar and minibar counter, safe, ironing board, shoe rack and luggage rack.
• Wardrobes are generally placed at the entrance, where the ceiling height is lower than the rest of the room due to the A/C unit. Make the wardrobe full height to reduce the cleaning operation.
