The contract test
The honest question for any sample is not “does it look good?” but “does it look good after 5,000 sittings, 200 rainstorms and three summers of UV?” Contract-grade furniture is specified for the back half of that sentence.
One more material principle is worth stating plainly for hospitality buyers: mixing materials within a scheme is fine; mixing quality grades is not. 2 — Design the storage and stacking plan up front
Outdoor furniture spends part of its life off the floor — stacked for winter, cleared for events, reset for service. 3 — Specify cushions and slings for the real weather
