Booth and banquette seating does two jobs no loose chair can. First, it lifts cover density: a run of banquette seating along a wall puts diners shoulder-to-shoulder where free-standing chairs would waste the space to circulation, often adding a whole extra row of covers to a room. Second, it sells the room — a restaurant booth reads as comfort, privacy and a destination, the seat guests ask for by name. Because fixed seating is built into the architecture, it is specified differently from loose furniture. It is almost always made to length rather than bought as a fixed unit — a continuous banquette run, a back-to-back double-sided booth, an L-shaped corner booth that turns an awkward corner into prime seating, or a curved and half-circle booth for a feature table. The frame, the foam density, the fire-rated upholstery and a base that allows the floor to be cleaned beneath it all matter more here than on a chair, because a booth is in place for years and cannot simply be swapped out.

The dimensions shown are a typical single 120 cm unit. Each model is manufactured to your exact run length and built as a single bench, double-sided booth, corner or curve, in your choice of upholstery and base. Send your plan and we'll quote the run.
Configurations
Fixed seating is specified by configuration as much as by style. These are the layouts we build, each suited to a different part of the floor.
— Single wall banquette: A continuous upholstered bench along one wall, with loose tables and chairs on the open side. The workhorse of cover density — it lines a wall that chairs would waste.
— Double-sided booth: Two benches back-to-back, forming facing booths down the centre of a room or between windows. The classic diner and restaurant booth, seating four per bay.
— Corner & L-shaped booth: A booth that wraps a corner, turning an awkward dead corner into a sought-after, generous seat for larger parties.
— Curved & half-circle booth: A round or half-circle booth around a feature table — the destination seat for a private group and the focal point of a dining room.
— High-back & partition booth: A tall-backed booth that creates acoustic and visual privacy, sectioning an open room into intimate bays without building walls.

Contract Build
A booth is built into the room and stays for years. These are the details that decide whether it still looks and performs well at the end of them.
— Solid, braced frame: Fixed seating is loaded continuously and leaned on hard. A solid timber or steel frame, properly braced, is what keeps a long run rigid and silent over years.
— Commercial foam density: Seat and back foam is specified to a commercial density that holds its shape under all-day use, rather than softening and sagging like domestic foam.
— Fire-rated, rub-tested upholstery: Covers are flame-retardant and carry a high rub-count (Martindale/Wyzenbeek), in fabric or wipe-clean faux leather for spill-heavy zones.
— Cleanable base: A plinth or leg base is specified so the floor can be cleaned around and beneath the booth — a hygiene requirement fixed seating must not overlook.
— Made to length, repeatably: Runs are manufactured to your dimensions and the upholstery recorded, so a damaged section is re-covered or matched years later without redoing the whole run.
— Removable seat option: Lift-out or hinged seats give access for deep cleaning and for running services beneath a banquette where needed.

1 — Plan the run before the product
Fixed seating is made to length, so start with the floor plan: wall lengths, configuration and table spacing. Use the planner above for a starting count, then brief us with the plan.
2 — Specify the frame and foam, not just the cover
The cover is what you see; the frame and foam density are what last. Confirm a braced commercial frame and commercial-density foam that holds its shape under all-day use.
3 — Get upholstery fire-rated and rub-tested
Covers must be flame-retardant with a high rub-count. Choose wipe-clean faux leather for spill-heavy zones and confirm both certifications up front.
4 — Design in cleaning access
Specify a base that lets the floor be cleaned beneath the booth, and consider removable seats. Hygiene access is far cheaper to design in than to retrofit.
5 — Record the spec for re-covers
Booths are re-covered, not replaced. Keep the fabric, foam and frame on file so a worn section is matched and re-covered years later without redoing the whole run.
